Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

An online information seminar on the Registration of Geographical Markers in the European Union was held on Friday, April 2, 2021 in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Turkish Patent and Trademark Authority.​

A visit was made on 29.03.2021 to the office of Ümit Mutlu, Vice President of Traffic Directorate of the General Directorate of Security, to consult on developments in the current situation of Turkey in the digital tachograph system and international regulations for the intelligent tachograph system, field inspections and the latest status of the Digital Tachograph Data Analysis Project.​

The Tax Advisory Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) convened via video conference under the chairmanship of Council President Fatih Dural. ​

Members of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Tourism and Travel Agencies Council and industry representatives held a consultation meeting on the Tourism Promotion Law Proposal. The meeting discussed the provisions of the arrangement.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Oil and Petroleum Products Industry Council met via video conference to discuss the issues on the agenda, chaired by TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil and Council President Ahmet Erdem.​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,825 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in March 2021.​

e-Document Training of Trade Registry Directorates was carried out online with the participation of TOBB and Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of Internal Trade, Ankara Trade Registry Manager and 49 personnel from 22 chambers.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey in March 2021 increased by 769 units (18.2%) to 4,986 compared to March 2020.​

The application of “TÜRİB R&D Center” of the Turkey Product Specialized Exchange was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.​

TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Central Anatolia Regional Meeting was held on April 1st, 2021, with the participation of the heads of the region, hosted by Gülper Gün Yassı, TOBB Provincial KGK Central Anatolia Regional Representative and TOBB Nevşehir Women Entrepreneurs Council President. ​
