Our Clean Business Project begins

Developed by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council with the support of the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning and OPET, the “Our Clean Business Project” officially started with the protocol signing ceremony held before the Clean Educational Information Meeting. A total of 40 public education center instructors from Muğla, Antalya and İzmir came together to examine the training contents and project documents and exchange ideas on the roadmap of the project, which covers hygiene training programs for micro enterprises in the service sector. At the end of the meeting, the instructors who receive a certificate of participation will start meeting with the trainees who own the business in public education centers.​

13th Meeting of Value Creating Women Entrepreneurs held

Chaired by Nurten Öztürk, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council President the 13th meeting of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Value Creating Women was held with TOBB Batman and TOBB Tekirdağ Women Entrepreneurs Councils with the participation of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee members and Provincial Council Members.​

The September meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Durable Consumer Goods Council was held via video conference under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu and Council President Fatih Kemal Ebiçlioğlu.​

Zeytinoğlu elected IKV President for the 4th time

The 59th General Meeting of the Foundation for Economic Development (IKV) was held at the foundation's headquarters in İstanbul. Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Vice President of TOBB Board of Directors and President of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry (KSO), who has been IKV President for 3 terms, was elected president for the 4th time.​

The fifth meeting of the webinar series “How to Keep Up with the Green Transformation” was held online on September 16, 2021. Speaking at the webinar opening were Food Industry Council President Necdet Buzbaş, Beverage Industry Council Member İpek İşbitiren and Retail Council Member Hülya Günay, discussing the issue from the perspective of their respective sectors.​

Leather Sector convened to evaluate the latest sectoral developments

The meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Leather and Leather Products Industry Council was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and public and sector representatives under the chairmanship of Council President Muhittin Savranoğlu.​

The number of newly established Companies increased by 30,7% in August 2021 with respect to previous month.

The number of newly established companies and the number of sole proprietorships increased by 30,7% and 24,8% while the number cooperatives decreased by 14,3% according to the previous month.​

TOBB Turkey Fairs Sector Council convened

TOBB Turkey Fairs Sector Council convened with the participation of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu and chaired by Council President Cihat Alagöz. The meeting focused on supporting the sector with new incentive mechanisms and evaluating the legislation in force. ​
