Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Tax Advisory Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey was convened via video conference on August 24th, 2021 under the chairmanship of Fatih Dural, Chairman of the Board, with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç.​

Chaired by Nurten Öztürk, Women Entrepreneurs Council President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the ninth meeting of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council was held with TOBB Artvin and TOBB Uşak Women Entrepreneurs Councils with the participation of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee members and Provincial Council Members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) TIR Committee convened via video conference.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) President Nurten Öztürk and his delegation came to Antalya, which were were affected by the forest fires, and paid a well-wishes visit to the villages damaged by the fire. The delegation also visited Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Antalya Commodity Exchange and Manavgat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

The Accreditation Officer Training Program, which started with 10 pilot Accredited Chambers/Exchanges selected within the scope of Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts, continued with the presentations of the projects prepared for Strategic Planning training in the project presentations of the 1st Module trainings.​

Transportation Electronic Tracking Control System (U-ETDS) Seminar series was held on August 18th, 2021, for Central Anatolia Region Chamber members. With the support and participation of TOBB, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure officials gave information about the Transportation Electronic Monitoring and Inspection System, and the questions of the participants were answered at the end of the seminar. ​

In the first 7 months of 2021, the number of newly established companies and the number of cooperatives established increased by 13.8%, and 2.3% respectively, whereas the number of newly established sole proprietorships decreased by 8.1%, compared to the first 7 months of 2020.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Road Passenger Transport Council meeting was held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building with the participation of the council member company and association representatives.​

Training on Halal Accreditation Processes for chambers/ exchanges was organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

Chaired by Nurten Özturk, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council President, the eighth meeting of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Value Creating Women was held with TOBB Ardahan and TOBB Van Women Entrepreneurs Councils with the participation of TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Executive Committee members and Provincial Council Members.​
