Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selcuk met with Turkey-EU JCC Turkey Branch members at a business dinner hosted TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Ankara International Fairs and Congress Center Co. Inc. General Assembly hosted at the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Hasan Büyükdede, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology to congratulate and wish him success. During the visit conducted closed to the press, a mutual exchange of views took place.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu extended his condolences to Yüksel during the condolatory visit to Kadirli Chamber of Commerce President Mehmethan Yüksel for the passing of his son Ahmet Yüksel. ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Malatya Commodity Exchange and consulted with representatives of the business community. Hisarcıklıoğlu, who expressed his great pride in coming to the apricot capital and receiving an honorary citizenship certificate, congratulated the Malatya Commodity Exchange on their leadership and works on licensed warehousing on apricots.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). During the visit hosted by Malatya CCI Chairman of the Board Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu, TESK President Bendevi Palandöken, Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay, former Customs and Trade Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Hacı Uğur Polat, Battalgazi Mayor Selahattin Gürkan, Arapkir Mayor Haluk Cömertoğlu and many business people were also present.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, giving a conference on “The Role of Local Governments in Economic Development” at the Battalgazi Conference Hall in Malatya, pointed out that competition used to among the countries as opposed to today, in which cities compete against each other. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Those who show themselves in this race will be the star cities of tomorrow.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was granted an honorary citizenship by residents of Malatya. Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his gratitude for the title. “I'm honored to be a citizen of Malatya, which has produced so many great individuals. I would like to thank all of my brothers and sisters from Malatya, especially our esteemed Mayor, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who have granted me this honor.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the Life Without Obstacles Center Service Building and Dreams Without Obstacles Exhibition of the Malatya Battalgazi Municipality.​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Turkey and Germany are two major economic powers in Europe and said, “Our friendship and our partnership with Germany has deep roots.
