Reminding that no president has been appointed in the TOBB community and elected to office by taking winning the vote of even their competitors, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the offices they hold they are in are not receiving, but offices of self-sacrifice.

Stating that the task given to council members and presidents is to protect the interests of its members, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “My task is to follow-up on the issues conveyed to me by my 365-chamber and commodity exchange presidents. Go and tell them about the President, ministers, chief executives, whoever’s in charge. We don't have sanction power. Our job is to tell.”

“The best of people is what is useful to people,” Hisarcıklıoğlu said, underlining that giving a person a job and food is the best charity.

TOBB President, urging council members to form good foundations for dialogue in their regions, said, “Do not forget that you are the mortar of this country. Traders are the mortar of the business not only in our country, but all over the world. Each purchase is actually an agreement.”
