Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Automotive Industry Presidential Council Election meeting was held with the participation of Council members under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Davut Çetin.​

The Turkish Commodity Exchange Electronic Product Stock (TÜRİB ELÜS) Exchange has completed its third year. During the 3-year operating period, ELÜS transaction volume increased 7 times.​

The Green Deal Workgroup convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu attended the online meeting and made a speech.​

The Digital Transformation Studies Committee convened under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu. At the meeting attended by TOBB Board of Directors Members Davut Çetin and Mehmet Büyüksimitçi and Chamber Presidents who are members of the Committee, Prof. Dr. Güven Sak gave information about the developments in digital transformation.​

The BIGG GARAGE Green Growth Program, which is realized in cooperation with TOBB ETU, TürkTraktör, Hacettepe Teknokent TTM and KTO Karatay University, will provide grant support for R&D and innovation initiatives working on green technologies.​

During the first six months of the year 2022 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives increased by 20,8% and 22,4% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 11,5% with respect to the same period of the year 2021.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Fairs Council convened under the chairmanship of Council President Cihat Alagöz with the participation of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu and Ministry of Trade International Service Trade Deputy General Manager Dr. Yusuf Karakaş.​

The transit document allocation procedures are carried out by the distribution offices affiliated to the Chambers and Commodity Exchange authorized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). In order to ensure that the distribution of the transit documents is carried out effectively, efficiently and in accordance with the rules, training, information and consultation meetings are held for the distribution office officers in certain periods.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Court of Arbitration met via video conference under the chairmanship of Adil Sani Konukoğlu. During the meeting, the Court was informed about the arbitration and mediation agreements signed with the chambers and exchanges, as well as other issues on the agenda of the Court. At the end of the meeting, the Court of Arbitration visited the TOBB UYUM Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center and wished them well. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Chemical Industry Council, together with a delegation of Council Members, visited the General Directorate of Environmental Management of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and evaluated the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDİK).​
