Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The IRU's Meeting of the Passenger Transport Council and the Liaison Committee on Goods Transport (CTP-CLTM) was held with the participation of TOBB Transport and Logistics Systems Department.​

The 4th High Level Guidance Meeting of the Spatial Strategy Plan of Turkey was held in Ankara on Thursday, December 2, 2021, chaired by Fatma Varank, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Primary Change.​

Green Logistics Workshop organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure was held on November 10, 2021. The event started with the opening speech of Murat Baştor, Director General of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, continuing with presentations from speakers from academia, industry and non-governmental organizations. The online event, which was also attended by the Digital Tachograph Directorate within the TOBB Transport and Logistics Systems Department, discussed the issues of promoting intermodal transport in our country and what preparations our sector should make to the European Green Deal.​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,511 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in November 2021.​

The Tax Advisory Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) was convened via video conference on November 30, 2021 under the chairmanship of Council President Fatih Dural. ​

Within the scope of chamber/exchange accreditation system efforts, Strategic Plan Training for 15th and 16th Term Chambers/Exchanges, which are under accreditation process, was organized via zoom on November 29, 2021.​

Nurten Öztürk, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President, attended the first event of Womenpreneurs4Turkey, hosted by Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which aims to increase technology-based women's entrepreneurship.​

Zeki Kıvanç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), participated in the Deposit System Workshop held at TOBB Twin Towers.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in November 2021 increased by 32.7% (1,205 units) compared to 4,890 units in November 2020.​

The Training and Examination of Brokers Trading on the Commodity Exchanges of people who want to be Agents and Brokers at İzmir Commodity Exchange was held on December 01, 2021 at İzmir Commodity Exchange.​
