Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Durable Consumer Goods Council was held with the participation of TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan A. Sadıkoğlu.​

The General Assembly of the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC), of which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) is also a member, took place online on 29 November 2021. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Turkey and Greece attended the meeting, which Bulgaria hosted as its rotating president.​

The meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Furniture Products Council meeting was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan A. Sadıkoğlu and chaired by Council President Ercan Ata. The meeting focused on the problems of the furniture industry and solutions.​

The Accreditation Officer Training Program, which started with 10 pilot Accredited Chambers/Exchanges selected within the scope of Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts, continued with 3rd Module trainings, Activity Communication and Social Media Training.​

The Turkish Services Council was established as the 65th Sector Council within the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci met with Bangladeshi Trade Minister Tipu Munshi at the Working Dinner at TOBB.​

Strategic Acquisition and Category Management Seminar was held online within the scope of TOBB Supplier Development Program. Strategic acquisition, traditional acquisition and strategic acquisition differences, category management and queue management within the category were discussed in the webinar carried out by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) met with industry representatives under the chairmanship of Engin Yeşil, Zeki Kıvanç and Council President Erdal Sukan, members of the TOBB Board of Directors of the Turkish Paper and Paper Products Industry Council.​

Transportation Electronic Tracking Control System (U-ETDS) Seminar series continued on November 24, 2021 for the members of the Second Chamber of the Aegean Region. TOBB, Transportation and Logistics Systems Department with the support and participation of the TIR Operations Directorate and the ministry of transport and infrastructure officials gave explanatory information about the Transportation Electronic Monitoring and Inspection System and the questions of the participants were answered at the end of the seminar.​

A meeting was held with Kazakhstan business umbrella organization ATAMEKEN on the problems in the field of international transportation via video conference.​
