Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

In cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Eskişehir Workshop on the Development of Risk Management Options of Small-Scale Farmers in the Context of the Agri-Food Value Chain was held.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Creative Industries Council meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Ata Kavame with the participation of TOBB Board Member Ömer Zeydan.​

“Facebook Station,” which was opened in September 2019 as Facebook's first community center in Turkey in cooperation with TOBB, ICC and Habitat Association, celebrated its 3rd anniversary. ​

The 82nd event of TOBB Türkiye Technology Meetings, held under the auspices of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and in cooperation with E-commerce Center Co Inc and the Women in Technology Association (Wtech), was held at Gaziantep University Mavera Congress and Art Center.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Energy Council meeting was held under the chairmanship of Council President Zeki Konukoğlu with the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç, public, non-governmental organizations and private sector representatives.​

Sectoral Evaluation Meeting on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (PPE) Processes in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) was held at TOBB İstanbul Service Building Conference Hall for the cosmetics sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Natural Gas Council held its 3rd meeting of 2022 under the chairmanship of Council President İbrahim Akbal.​

TOBB İstanbul Women Entrepreneurs Council President and Regional Representative Hatice Güner Kal met with Sri Lanka Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCISL) President/Ceylon Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs President Shirley Jayawardana and Ceylon Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs Director Kumuduni Weerasekera.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) has published the 2023 Fair Calendar. Across Turkey, 345 fairs will be organized in 2023. TOBB has approved 345 fairs, 113 of which are international, to be held next year.​

During the first eight months of the year 2022 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives increased by 23,3% and 28,4% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 7,5% with respect to the same period of the year 2021.​
