Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Meeting of the Turkish Soil Industrial Products Council was held under the chairmanship of Council President Kadir Başoğlu with the participation of TOBB Board Member Saban A. Karamehmetoğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Tourism Council Member Osman Ayık and representatives of the Directorate of Sector Councils participated in the Affiliated Members 42nd General Session on 5-6 November 2020 via videoconference.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Chemical Industry Council convened via video conference under Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB, and Timur Erk, President of the Turkey Chemical Industry Council.​

Members of the Turkish Side of the Turkey-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum met via video conference. Turkey-Ukraine Businessmen's Association (TUID) President also attended the meeting chaired by Özer Matlı, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB and Co-Chair of the Turkey-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum.​

Zero Waste Application Information Seminar for Industrial Facilities and OIZs was held online under the organization of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.​

Ahmet Nedim Erdem, Chairman of the Executive Committee of TOBB Insurance Appraisers, which represents insurance appraisers operating in Turkey, stated that the İzmir earthquake caused deep pain in in Turkey as well as the insurance appraisers community.​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), which was prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law no. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,373 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in October 2020.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in October 2020 decreased by 3.6% (147 units) to 3,961 units compared to October 2019 (4,108 units).​

Accreditation Development Visits to Accredited Chambers/Exchanges for the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 13th Term accredited chambers/exchanges are organized before the Accreditation Certification Audits, which are scheduled for March-April 2021.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Automotive Industry Council meeting was held via video conference chaired by TOBB Board Member Davut Çetin and Council President Cengiz Eroldu.​
