PNB Turkey hosted the 3rd PNB Global Summit in İstanbul on November 23rd-24th 2013. The Summit was organized with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, Former US Secretary of State and Chair of PNB Madeleine Albright and PNB representatives from 14 different countries.

In the course of the 3rd Entrepreneurship Summit in Dubai, as the leadership of PNB Turkey, TOBB hosted PNB event themed “Celebrating Public-Private Partnerships: A Spotlight on Partners for a New Beginning”. In the course of the event, Mr. Yorgancılar announced that the next PNB Summit in 2013 will be held in Ankara, Turkey on February 12, 2013.

Building Entrepreneurial Spirit
at High Schools

The “Building Entrepreneurial Spirit at High Schools” project is designed by All Independent Industrialist and Businessmen’s Association (TÜMSİAD) and TOBB Economics and Technology University (TOBB-ETU) together with an aim to increase the number of entrepreneurs and widespread entrepreneurship spirit in Turkey. The Project has initiated with a seminar themed “Responsibilities of Young Entrepreneurs in 2023 Vision” on the 3rd November 2012 at TOBB ETU with the participation of M.Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB and Dr.Hasan Sert President of TUMSIAD.

Entrepreneurship Week

PNB Turkey organized a entrepreneurship training program for a week with Prof. Barrett Hazeltine, Brown University. In the course of the program, Students and start-ups were trained and also a round table discussion day was held with the participation of academicians teaching entrepreneurship in Turkey.

TOBB President and PNB Turkey Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu headed the official launch of “Partners for a New Beginning-Turkey”, which was held on March 4th, 2011 in Istanbul. The meeting was attended by Toni Verstandig, Executive Director of Middle East Program of Aspen Institute and PNB Turkey Executive Committee members. In the framework of the meeting, the Members of the Steering Committee of PNB Local Chapter in Turkey (PLC Turkey) was introduced and the participants were informed on the the priority projects which will be implemented under PNB Turkey.
