Hakan Ülken is the President of the Aydın Chamber of Commerce (AYTO), which has approximately 10000 members subject to Law No. 5174.

 

Hakan Ülken is married with 3 children and was born in Aydın on 04 December 1978. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Aydın, he completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Uludağ University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and his Master's Degree at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Adnan Menderes University.

 

Starting his career in private sector, Ülken continues his commercial activities in the fields of Engineering, Construction, Accommodation, Food and Laboratory Sectors in Aydın and Bursa.

 

Ülken was elected as an AYTO Assembly member in 2009, and has been appointed as the President of the AYTO Board of Directors since 2013 and has renewed confidence again in 2018 in addition to which he holds office as member of TOBB Board, TOBB General Assembly Delegation, GEKA - Member of the Board of Southern Aegean Development Agency, Deputy Chairman of Council of TOBB Chambers of Commerce, European Parliament Member of the Assembly of Companies (MEPE), Istanbul World Trade Center Board Member, Chamber of Environmental Engineers Aydın Province Representative Board, Aydın High School Alumni Association Member, Adnan Menderes University Foundation (ADVAK) Board of Trustees, member of Aydın Young Businessmen Association, TEMA Foundation Aydın Representative, Higher Education Quality Board Member, Astim Organize Sanayi Bölgesi Entrepreneur Delegation,

 

Ülken is also a member of the Coordination Committee for the Improvement of the Investment Environment.
