TOBB Board Member Saban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu stated that TOBB stands behind the cement sector and that any problems faced by the sector have been communicated to the public authorities immediately.

Council President Tamer Saka noted that the cement sector is already suffering from a contraction in the Covid-19 pandemic process, and that if the process takes a long time, this contraction could cause great harm to the sector, adding that access to financial resources needs to be facilitated.

The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on Cement and Cement Products Sector was evaluated thoroughly at the meeting, which was held with the participation of sector council members.
