The meeting’s main agenda item was to link the economic measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected Turkey in many dimensions recently, to the software sector.

TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci, after greeting the Council on behalf of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, noted that the country has been through a difficult period and habits have changed. Büyüksimitci stated that, in terms of the software sector, new working styles have been established, new opportunities can be found for the sector, and in a video conference with the Minister of Industry and Technology and industry parliamentary heads, detailed information about the general problems of each sector as well as sectors with unique features such as software were relayed and the demands were communicated.
