TOBB Board Member Mahmut Özgener began his speech by relaying TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu’s greetings and that every problem of the sector is taken into consideration and that the TOBB Board works towards solving the problems of the sector, both at the Presidential level and at the level of the Board of Directors.

Özgener reported that the Council has been working fruitfully onscrap incentive works, regulation on The Trade of Used Motor Vehicles, weekend work of notaries, increase of vehicle loans to 60 months, expressing that they foresee growth in 2020.

In the election of the Parliamentary Presidential Council, Mermerler Group of Companies Chairman Yüksel Mermer was reelected as Council President, while Hayri Erce, Automotive Distributors Association General Coordinator, was elected Council Vice President. Yüksel Mermer thanked all council members for their trust and wished that this period would be good for the whole Council.
