Two academicians from TOBB ETU and Hacettepe create ‘economy books’ app for mobile phones

Macroeconomics and microeconomics textbooks that many young people read in the early years of the university and for their business and academic career exams after graduation are now available in the form of a mobile phone application. Two academicians from TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU) and Hacettepe University designed and published an android based mobile phone application through their own personal efforts, containing two of their books in this field.
A. Talha Yalta and A. Yasemin Yalta, who work at the Economics Departments of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of TOBB ETU and Hacettepe Universities created the app by making use of all the possibilities of technology. In both books, the subjects of introductory economics course are presented in an easy language and graphics, interactive content, hundreds of questions and experiment tests. Courses make use of economy news as well as up to date and modern Turkey-oriented content. Thus, university students and graduates preparing for business exams, can utilize the app to stay up to date.
