Turkey Defense Industry Council discussed Employment Mobilization 2019

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Defense Industry Council meeting, chaired by Council President Yılmaz Küçükseyhan was held at the TOBB Social Facilities Conference Hall with the attendances of TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council, Mehmet Büyüksimitci, TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş TÜBİTAK President Hasan Mandal, President of the Defense Industry Professor Dr. Ismail Demir as well as the high-level representatives of Turkish defense and aerospace industry.
Council President Küçükseyhan made general evaluations about the sector in his opening speech.
TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci stated that the defense industry sector is one of the most important and critical sectors in the country and the localization rate in the defense industry is close to 70%. Büyüksimitci also pointed out that the Defense Industry Council is one of the most active and disciplined councils among sector councils.
