Hisarcıklıoğlu, “We can’t repay our martyrs if we do not put an end to off terrorism”

In his message regarding the terror attack in the Şemdinli county of Hakkari, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that terrorism, the enemy of humanity, is the chosen weapon of the elements of animosity and hate which target our unity and solidarity, and said, “We can only repay our debts to the sainted martyrs who gave their live for this country by putting an end to terror and giving no quarter. The blood of our martyrs is spilled for the abolishment of terror which threatens our peace and security, so that our flag flies in peace and fraternity and our country leads the race in modern civilization. This is our vow to our martyrs.”
The TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke in his message;
“We have learned to our great dismay that members of the terrorist organization PKK have staged an attack in the Şemdinli county of Hakkari, martyring 1 police officer, 1 soldier and 3 civilians. There were also 10 injured.
The foul face of terror once again burns our hearts as a nation. As a people who have suffered attacks of terrorism for many years we have always said that terror is the name of all inhuman activities which cannot be rationalized on any moral or goal basis. This land won its freedom with the blood of martyrs. It has lasted to this day through our nation’s struggle, fighting tooth and nail, sacrificing our lives for it.
The people of this land are united as drops of water in a glass. Neither outside force nor terrorist organization can upset this unity. There is no strength or force sufficient for the task. I like to remind those who hope to achieve meaningless goals through terrorist attacks of this.
It is with these thoughts that I, on behalf of the Turkish business world, pray for the grace of Allah upon our martyrs and citizens; present my condolences to their family and loved ones and to our nation and hope for the speedy recovery of the wounded.”
