In his speech, TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken expressed his gratitude for coming together prior to the election of the Insurance Assessors Executive Committee. “I specifically wanted to come here today and meet with you. I wanted to experience this democratic election process which is very important for our sector with you.

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu also wanted to participate in the meeting, but he could not attend due to an essential change in his itinerary. Our President also asked me to convey his wishes that the elections will be beneficial to our sector and to you.”

Hakan Ülken stated that they considered the insurance assessors as the most important element of the insurance system and that only the experts maintained the rights of both the insured and the insurance companies.

Ülken pointed out that they also observe public interests and rules. “You're providing a service with no concern for your own health or wellbeing under the direst of circumstances such as earthquakes, fires, floods and many other natural disasters to insure people do not become victims. In the advertising campaign we prepared, we wanted to highlight all these and show you the importance of them. Emphasizing the impartiality and independence of the Insurance Assessors, we have used the slogan, ‘justice is served with the aid of experts.’ For the first time in the world and throughout the country, we have introduced the profession of expertise and we are continuing to do it.”
