LPG Council convened in Ankara

TOBB Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council convened under Council Chairman EMRA Liquefied Petroleum Gas Gokhan Tezel, with the participation of EPDK LPG Market Department Chief Muhammed Demir.​

At the meeting, assessments were made on April market figures, which were first announced by EMRA.

Deputy manager and the business security specialist practices were examined and the sector evaluations were submitted. A briefing on work on hazardous substance safety consultancy employment was presented; it was pointed out that the certification process was very difficult with 26% success rate in applications to become a security consultant regarding hazardous materials.

The industrial registration documents canceled at terminals as a part of categorization work initiated by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and which were later announced to have been canceled at the filling facilities and elsewhere was reported to be on the technical and legislative committee agenda and proposals were forwarded to the related institutions.

During the meeting, subcommittee reports were presented by the Technical Committee, the Autogas Committee, the Legislative Committee and the Bottled Gas Committee chiefs.
