The Chair of the People’s Assembly of the Gökoğuz (Gagauzia) Autonomous Region, Anna Harlamenko and her accompanying delegation visited TOBB, meeting with the TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz and the Deputy Secretary General Ali Emre Yurdakul. Drawing attention to the business and investment opportunities in Gagauzia, Harlamenko said that they view Turkey as a sibling and follow its example. - “Gagauzia soil is the cleanest agriculture soil in the world”

Stating that Gagauzia’s greatest riches are its people and its land, the Chair of the People’s Assembly Anna Harlamenko urged Turkish investors to invest in Gagauzia and reap the benefits of its soil together. Harlamenko stated that all options must be tried to increase investments and cooperation.

- “Do not hold yourselves apart from Turks”

TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, addressing the guest delegation, said, “Do not hold yourselves apart from Turks, you are Turks as well.” Stating that they are ready as TOBB to provide all support needed for the development of Gagauzia, Saraçöz said, “We can share our experiences with you. We could hold training programs.” Saraçöz stated that cooperation would come about with businessmen learning of the opportunities in Gagauzia.
