During his opening speech TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken stated the importance of participation by representatives from different fields as soil industry products council soil industry products council and arriving at a consensus which accordingly his thanks to the council for achieving such success. Stating that he had been pleasantly following the council’s activities Ülken also underlined the support he would be providing the council in every matter. 

Council President Kadir Başoğlu by welcoming council member proceeded with the meeting agenda. Giving information about the standards which shall be prepared as per protocol signed with MYK on 10^th August Başoğlu also said by the introduction of the standards there would be an increase in number of qualified labours within the sector.

Kadir Başoğlu by sharing the information with the members regarding the standards for Reinforced Aerated Concrete Panel Fitter Level 4 and Bottom Block, Concreate Paving and Stone Paving Operator Level 3 had been prepared and sent to Professional Competence Agency (MYK) and also Siding Master Occupational Standards are under preparation process, also briefed in detail about how the procedure would be for the standards until publication in Official Gazette.

Sharing the topics as stated by MYK regarding Hollow Block Fitter Standard which is the other occupational group included the protocol with the participant, Council President Başoğlu took council members’ opinion regarding on that matter.
