The Council assessed the 2016 accomplishments of the electricity market with a presentation by the Turkish Energy Council Adviser Kemal Uslu receiving information indicating natural gas supply is unable to meet demand resulting from installed power, production and consumption as well as cold weather conditions in December, causing increased prices.
