The Coordination Council for the Improvement of Investment Environment in Turkey (YOİKK) convened at the Prime Ministry Headquarters under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli. Attending the meeting in addition to TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz were Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Treasury Minister Naci Ağbal, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ, Development Minister Lütfi Elvan, Science, Industry and Technology Minister Faruk Özlü, Labor and Social Security Minister Süleyman Soylu, Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci.
Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli stated in his speech that the economic situation has recovered to what it was prior to the July 15th coup attempt in short time, “The sensible and rational stance of the economic administration has been instrumental in minimizing the effects of July 15th coup attempt and recovering rapidly.”
