The number of closed companies and sole proprietorships decreased by 18,15%   and 11,78% respectively, while cooperatives increased by 2,70% according to the previous month.

-The number of closed companies decreased by 19,07% with respect to the same month of the previous year.

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 3,76%, 5,19%  and 10,05 respectively, according to the same month of the previous year.

-In May 2016, 385 companies with foreign partners were established.

In May 2016, 385 companies with foreign partners were established. 129 of these companies had Syrian partners, 27 had Iraqi partners and 26 had Iranian partners.

During the first five month period of 2016, 2.157 companies with foreign partners were established. 873 of these companies had Syrian partners, 141 had Iraqi partners and 137 had German partners.
