TOBB Board Members attended the Western Africa program

TOBB Board of Directors Vice Presidents Halim Mete, İbrahim Çağlar, Ali Kopuz and Board Member Selçuk Öztürk attended the official visit to the Western Africa countries under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan between February 28th and March 3rd of 2016.
The visit to the Ivory Coast, Ghana Nigeria and Guinea was also attended by Foreign Affairs Minister Mevlut Çavuoğlu, Economy Minister Mustafa Elitaş, Environment and Urbanism Minister Fatma Güldemet Sarı and Minister of National Defense İsmet Yılmaz. Various agreements were signed on the ministerial while business forums and work luncheons were held in parallel, meeting with African country leaders, ministers and businesspeople. Steps necessary to develop bilateral economic and commercial relations as well as developing countries’ economies were discussed.
