2010.11.20 - İSTANBUL, TOBB/ Turkish Banking and Finance assembly held its meeting at the TOBB Plaza in İstanbul, discussed sector’s priority problems. ​
​At the meeting, stating the high rate of taxes of financial intermediation, the members of the assembly also underlined that the banking law and other related legal arrangement should be changed.   As the high level of participants from private sector and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) also attended meeting, it is emphasized that İstanbul necessarily has to become an international centre of finance.      In addition, the members mentioned that execution and bankruptcy law need to be changed. Towards the end of the meeting, all participants and the members of the assembly evaluated the general situation of the financial sector and discussed solutions.
