Ambassador Baltondano pointed out exploitable opportunities for cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, livestock and halal foods as well as tourism for both countries. He went on to report that they’ve implemented legislation to protect investors.

Noting that Nicaragua has a very large sweet water lake, Baltondano invited Turkish contractors to take part in projects to make use of this lake via canal infrastructure construction.

TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz emphasized the importance of furthering bilateral relations and expressed his happiness for the visit.
