Children competing in Turkish Olympics visited Hisarcıklıoğlu

Children from various countries who are in Turkey for the 9th International Turkish Olympics visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.

The 9th Turkish Olympics attended by over a thousand children, coming from nearly 130 countries is being held this year. Children from Jordan, Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), Mauritania, Guinea, Brazil, Tajikistan and Afghanistan were hosted by TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu. Displaying their skills by reciting poetry or song, the children presented Hisarcıklıoğlu presents representative of their country. TOBB President in turn spoke with each child and presented them with gifts.

Expressing his happiness at the visit of the children, whose only common denominator is speaking Turkish, Hisarcıklıoğlu, “These little brothers and sisters will play an important role in Turkey’s integration with the world. Hopefully they act as a bridge between us and the world.
