TOBB Board Vice President and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Board President Murat Yalçıntaş stated that Turkey has come a long way in the last 10 years in regards to technology in his speech.

Yalçıntaş said that though construction was the most prominent sector in Turkey until recently, in recent years informatics has become the most important sector in Turkey due to its effects on other sectors.

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEİK) have set up booths at the fair.
