In his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu provided an analysis of Turkey-USA Relations, emphasizing the disturbance the lack of development in economic relations causes. Stating that in order to maintain the economic transformation Turkey is undergoing, it needs the USA’s support, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the “transformative power” not fully utilized by Turkey would provide valuable experience for the countries in the region in transforming and integrating fully with the world economy.
