Speaking at The Second Regional Produce Fair (YÖREX) opening, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated goods should establish brands in conjunction with the regions and cities of their origin. ​

Having given directives to the Antalya Commodity Exchange and Antalya Chamber of Commodity and Industry to ensure that YÖREX makes the transition to EXPO, Hisarcıklıoğlu suggested that YÖREX be held on a national and international, alternating yearly.
In his speech Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the importance of developing brands, that producing goods was not enough by itself but that these also need to be promoted and marketed rigorously. Saying that many of our goods were easily on par with other globally patented goods that have become successful brands; Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to say that many of the foreign brands like yoghurt with fruits and assorted flavors were already a household treats in Turkey decades ago, but without proper promotion and patenting they were marketed by other nations.


The Second Regional Produce Fair, hosted by the Antalya Commodity Exchange, Antalya Chamber of Commodity and Industry and the Antalya West Mediterranean Economy Development Foundation, was attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, MHP Vice Chairman Tunca Toskay, CHP ex-Chairman Deniz Baykal, Antalya Vice Mayor Fuat Ergün, AKP Antalya Parliament Member Sadık Badak, CHP Antalya Parliament Member Osman Kaptan, MHP Antalya Parliament Member Mehmet Günal, Turkish Patent Institute President Habip Asan and various guests. Speeches supporting the proliferation of regional goods and the importance of becoming a brand were given by several speakers.


Hisarcıklıoğlu also presented a plaque expressing his thanks to the singer, Sümer Ezgü for his dedication of one of his songs to the fair and his support.
