President of TOBB Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoglu visited Turkish Cypriot together with the Turkish side of the Turkey – EU Joint Consultative Committee (JCC).

The delegation from Turkey meet with four Political Party leaders President of CTP Mr. Ferdi Sabit Soyer, President of TDP, Mr. Mehmet Çakıcı, President of DP, Mr. Serdar Denktaş and President of ORP Mr. Turgay Avcı. President of Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Mr. Gunay Cerkez accompanied the delegation as well.
Turkish delegation, which is composed of employee and employer unions meet with Civil Society Representatives of Turkish Cypriot at a separate meeting during the visit. President Hisarciklioğlu during the meeting stated that “JCC lead us, as employee, employer and other civil society groups to work together on a common ambition which is Turkey’s membership to EU. Even we have conflict of interest in our own working areas, now we know how to solve problems together by discussion. We strongly suggest you to carry out a similar way of dialogue between each other.”
