TOBB Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas Council convened at TOBB Social Facilities with the attendance of TOBB Accounting Member İlhan Parseker. Council President elections took place during the meeting wherein Turkey LPG Association President Yağız Eyüboğlu was elected President, Erciyaz Gaz Inc. Board President Rasim Kahyaoğlu, Shell Gas Inc. CEO Semih Genç and Independent LPGs and Highway Dealers Association President Yılmaz Cömert were elected Vice-Presidents.

The meeting, which was attended by public, private sector and NGO high-level representatives discussed policies for expanding the usage of LPG, a cleaner and cheaper energy source when compared to the other primary ones sources of energy in use today.The limitations of vehicles using gas entry into enclosed car parks and the reasons were assessed and public administration representatives provided information on studies on the regulation of vehicles using gas. LPG Council also decided that sub-committees which have been beneficial to the workings of the Council continue to be utilized.
