TOBB and DEİK President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated at “Grow with Turkey” conference organized by DEIK and The Turkish-British Business Council that Turkey is getting stronger in several aspects and it became the 16th greatest economy of the world and the 6th of Europe.​

Mehmet Şimşek underlined the potential of Turkey and stated that Turkey has a very large youth population and until 2030, the working population will continue to grow which is a very important asset of Turkey.


- British Minister of Trade Lord Green

British Minister of Trade Lord Green stated that Turkey should be a member of the European Union and that the membership of Turkey will bring dynamism to the union. Mr. Green mentioned that Turkey became very attractive for the British companies and they will support by all means to make Istanbul the center of finance.


 - The Turkish-British Business Council President Suzan Sabancı Dinçer


The Turkish-British Business Council President Suzan Sabancı Dinçer stated that the relationship of the United Kingdom and Turkey is very strong but there is still much to do to improve economic cooperation between the states.
