Victory of August 30th is the eternal record of our independence

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that on the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Commander-in-Chief's, which began on August 26th and ended on August 30th with the victory of the Turkish army, they commemorated Gazi Mustafa Kemal and his comrades with gratitude.
In his message on the occasion of the August 30th Victory Day, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that this historic day is the clearest expression of our nation's will to independence and live together.
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following statements in his message:
“Every year we feel the deep meaning of the glorious epic we wrote in history 100 years ago with the same sensitivity and awareness.
As a nation, we never give up our independence. Our nation has never lived under anyone's yoke, in captivity, and it cannot live so.
The determination and struggles of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades on the stage of history give us great strength while looking to the future.
When we are one and together, no one can stand in our way. This fact is our strongest bond, our greatest trust.
In order to be worthy of our history as the business world, we will make every effort to carry our country to the most advanced points in the race of civilization.
I congratulate our entire nation on August 30th, Victory Day.”
