In his speech here, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “It is a very rare situation in Turkey for the chamber and the stock exchange to coexist. You have achieved this unity beautifully in Samsun. With the emergence of this work, the economy of Samsun will be served here. Today I chatted with young people from college about entrepreneurship. It is a great honor to receive a doctoral degree from the university in Samsun. In addition, our Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, ‘Let's make Rifat a Samsun resident.’ It's a great honor for me. You have given me an 'honorary citizenship'. Now I am from Samsun, now you have a fellow citizen of Samsun in Ankara. If there is anything I can do, I am always ready to help you.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu underlined that the heads of chambers and commodity exchanges contribute to the country's economy and employment, "We do not have any financial expectations from these seats. My 365 chamber/commodity exchange president spends out of pocket and has no profit from it. I hope the real gain for this endeavor will be reflected in the real world. Because the best of man is the whoever works for the benefits of others. We have accepted this principle. If one can open an additional job for just one other person, if he can eat bread next to that person, if he can create 1 lira of added value for his country and provide wealth, he is happy. Despite all the difficult conditions, despite the pandemic on the one hand, the Ukrainian-Russian war on the one hand, our brothers continue to produce, buy and sell with love and enthusiasm. I respectfully greet everyone who supports the economy.”

Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, “Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which has been serving in Samsun for more than 100 years, is one of the most important actors contributing to the development of the city and the region. Although we were born 121 years ago as Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, our ideas, ideals and beliefs will always remain young. I hope that this new building will be instrumental in new projects, beautiful works and completely different firsts that will provide added value for Samsun and our country.”

Referring to the fact that the domestic automobile was exhibited in Samsun for the first time in Anatolia, Murzioğlu said: “I would like to express our gratitude to our President Hisarcıklıoğlu, who has brought together TOGG, our national pride that resonates all over the world, with the people of Samsun for the first time in Anatolia, and who has taken a historical responsibility and also holds the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkey's Automobile Venture Group TOGG.”

Following the opening, 12 companies that are members of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ranked among Turkey's Top and Second 500 Industrial Enterprises determined by Istanbul Chamber of Industry and 7 companies that entered Turkey's Top 1000 Exporters list announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly were awarded at the ‘Production Stars of Samsun’ ceremony.
