Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Ambassador Jeffry Flake

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), met with U.S. Ambassador to Ankara Jeffry Flake at a working dinner held at TOBB.​

At the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu discussed proposals for a $100 billion trade target between Turkey and the United States. Hisarcıklıoğlu conveyed that Turkey should be reintroduced into the GSP system, excluded from section 232, noting that there should be no sanctions among allies and problems including visas.
