In Adana, the highest employing, exporting and fast-growing companies were awarded with a ceremony. Zeki Kıvanç, President of the Board of Directors of Adana Chamber of Industry, said at the ceremony that the country's exports in December amounted to $22.3 billion, an increase of 24.9 percent compared to the same period last year. Stating that Adana's exports increased by 42.9 percent to $266.7 million in December, Kıvanç stated that exports increased by 36.1 percent year-on-year to $2.5 billion.

After the speeches, 24 companies that were included in the list of “Turkey's 1000 Industrial Enterprises” prepared by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), 13 companies in the list of “Turkey's Top 1000 Exporters” prepared by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), 3 companies among the “100 Fastest Growing Companies” organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the top 20 companies that create the most jobs in Adana and the top 10 companies that make the most registrations on the Adana Commodity Exchange were presented plaques by protocol members.
