“Winning Restaurant Support Check” campaign in collaboration with TOBB and Yemeksepeti

Speaking at the introductory meeting of the “Winning Restaurant Support Check,” project organized by Yemeksepeti via video conference, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said the project would be the lifeblood for restaurants.​

Yemeksepeti supports the “We Stand with SMEs as e-Commerce,” campaign initiated by the Ministry of Trade with the “Winning Restaurant Support Check” project with the contributions of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). In the campaign, users will be able to purchase these checks to use later at their favorite restaurants by purchasing "Winning Restaurant Support Check"; “Pay 40 - Eat 50,” “Pay 75 –Eat 100” and “Pay 150 – Eat 225.”

 

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the “Winning Restaurant Support Check,” project organized by Yemeksepeti will be the life water for restaurants, pointing out that especially small tradesmen are struggling more during this period.

 

Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed their happiness in supporting this project as TOBB, said:

“With this campaign, we aim to use digitalization to give takeaway expenditures during the post-coronavirus normalization period to our restaurants as working capital today. With this campaign, we call on our users to 'get your food for tomorrow today.’ Today, 10,000 restaurants, about 70% of which are members of TOBB, will benefit from this campaign. Our restaurants will be able to access financing between 10,000 and 50,000 liras with this campaign. We believe this campaign will be an opportunity to both improve cash flow for our restaurants and digitize and grow faster in the future.

By vitalizing our businesses, even strengthening them, we need to enter the post-Covid-19 period more preparedly. For this, we will continue to work with all our strength, to produce projects.”

Yemeksepeti Executive Director (CEO) Nevzat Aydın, during the project presentation video conference, reported that Yemeksepeti has implemented another campaign to help restaurants continue their work with the participation of its users in Turkey, which is going through a difficult process as is the rest of the world.

 

Aydın said, “With the Winning Restaurant Support Check, as Yemeksepeti, we provide our users with a product that they can support their favorite restaurants in their neighborhoods. After going through this difficult period, it is very important that we support today to order from the restaurants we always order from. We invite Yemeksepeti users to support these restaurants today in order to eat their favorite food from their favorite restaurants tomorrow.”

 

- 3,000 new jobs by the end of the year

 

Stating that it is a time to come together as a country, Aydın said that they support the, “Turkey Will Suffice for Turkey” campaign as Yemeksepeti.

 

Aydın said, “Of course we will give the necessary support to our state and our nation. However, we also need to give this support to the business life so that when we get through this process, our economy can rise as soon as possible. As Yemeksepeti, we have provided a myriad of supports to our business partner restaurants since March. In addition, we are also working in terms of employment. Even during the difficult time we are in, we have not given up on this goal and we have hired a thousand people after March 11th. By the end of the year, we will have provided 3,000 new jobs.”
