Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are faced with a regime which has not internalized its share of humanity; disregarding all moral and religious values, driving even their own citizens from their country, which has endangered their lives. Therefore, we cannot be expected to remain silent against these regime elements that slaughter innocent people and pose a clear threat to the security of our country.”

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said: “We are here today as TOBB Board of Directors and Kayseri Provincial Chambers and Exchanges. The reason we came here as the TOBB Board was to hold our Board meeting here and to introduce Kayseri and the dynamics of Kayseri to our friends on the Board. We had planned this visit a month ago. But on Thursday night, this despicable attack on our troops took place in Idlib.

We canceled our events in Kayseri. Today we will only hold our TOBB Board meeting. Following this meeting, we will attend the funeral of one of our heroes who was martyred in Idlib, Kayseri Infantry Specialist Corporal Ali Taşöz. We'll share the pain of his family and relatives.

May the souls of all our heroic soldiers who have been martyred in order to defend the peace and security of the homeland be blessed. May Allah make the place of our martyrs a paradise. May their families find patience and may the wounded find healing. I'm sorry for the loss of our nation.

Yes, we're all hurting, storms rage within us. The Turkish nation will never forget this painful day. Our heroic soldiers were protecting both our country's borders and the oppressed.

The Turkish Army has given the strongest response to terrorist organizations and its supporters with the Euphrates Shield, Olive Branch and Peace Spring operations. Of course, the perpetrators of this brutal attack will pay the price, and more; they will receive the punishment they deserve and they have begun to receive it. And let everyone know that we are a nation that knows how to overcome all adversity. When it comes to the homeland, we leave all political and intellectual divisions on one side.

Now we will act in unity and solidarity; practice patience and cooperation. We will keep the interests of our country above all else. As always, we are one and united. We, as the business community, stand by our nation, our state and our military. We stand by every decision, every step to be taken. We are also proud to be a member of this great nation and with our heroic soldiers who love this country more than their lives. May Allah bless our country, preserve the unity and persistence of our nation, and make our army victorious.”
