Balıkesir Commodity Exchange President Faruk Kula bid farewell on his last voyage

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the funeral of Balıkesir Commodity Exchange President Faruk Kula who passed away in Istanbul while in treatment in hospital.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu, who fulfilled his last duty to Faruk Kula, who lost his life at the age of 66, expressed his condolences to the Kula family.

- Who is Faruk Kula?

Faruk Kula was born in Balıkesir on December 15th, 1953. He was the President of the Board of Directors.

Faruk Kula had been the President of the Board of Directors of Balıkesir Commodity Exchange since 1992, as well as being a Member of the TOBB Commodity Exchanges Council, Member of TOBB Strategy Development High Council, Member of Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone Entrepreneur Delegation, Chairman of Balıkesir Egg Producers Association, Balıkesir Higher Education Foundation, Aegean Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Inc. (ELİDAŞ) Vice Chairman of the Board, İstanbul World Trade Center Inc. Member of the Board of Directors, Board Member of the Promotion and Empowerment Foundation of Balıkesir Province (BALGÜÇ), Member of the Board of Auditors of the Aegean Economy Development Foundation (EGEV) and Board Member of Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) in addition to being the President of Balıkesirspor for a term.
