Romanian Prime Minister Dancila Visited TOBB

Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, accompanied by a delegation comprised of Deputy Prime Minister Ana Birchall, Minister of National Defense Mihai Viorel Fifor, Minister of Finance Eugen Orlando Teodorovici, Minister of Transport Lucian Shova, Minister of EU Funds and Minister of Education Rovana Plumb, Minister of Business, Trade and Entrepreneurship Stefan Radu Oprea, Health Minister Sorina Pitea visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz also participated in the meeting as well as the Romanian Ambassador Gabriel Catalin Şopanda and the Turkish Ambassador in Bucharest Koray Ertaş.

Prime Minister Dancila, expressing their satisfaction with the fact that the political and economic relations between the two countries are at a very good level, said, “You can use the word ‘friend’, which you use for the president of Romania Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mihai Daraban, for me and my ministers. The doors are open to you in Romania.”

President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he is pleased to see that the representatives of Turkish private sector are growing in Romania every day. “It is an honor for us to that you’ve taken the time out of your half-day visit to Ankara. The Turkish private sector has always benefited from trading with Romania, and this cooperation will continue to grow exponentially.”

At the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Dancila signed the TOBB Memorial Ledger and had photos taken with the participants.
