With the launch of the center, SME Consultants and Project Managers can take the exam to document their competence.

Candidates who have successfully completed the exam can receive their SME Consultant or Project Manager Qualification Certificates.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu made the following statement: “One of the problems experienced by SMEs, which contribute significantly to the economy of our country in the fields of production, export and national employment, is the lack of qualified managers and consultants.

In a global competitive environment, employing qualified managers and consultants is an important factor to meet the needs of the enterprise in order to increase the competitiveness and efficiency of SMEs.

Today, however, our SMEs have problems accessing managers and consultants with the knowledge and skills to meet the needs of their businesses.

The inability of our SMEs to reach the right human resources causes loss of time and money, and unqualified persons can even negatively impact business processes.

To address this, we established TOBB YET-MER Vocational Qualification and Certification Center to serve our SMEs in order to facilitate the access to qualified and certified labor force required by the managers and consultancy professions of our SMEs and to expand the employment of qualified labor force.

With TOBB YET-MER, we aim to certify individuals who currently work as SME advisors or project managers or who plan to pursue a career in these areas and thus increase the access of our SMEs to qualified personnel.
