Vocational and technical high school contribution to education from Karacabey Commodity Exchange

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu participated in the opening ceremony of the Karacabey Commodity Exchange Karacabey Harmanlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, stating that Karacabey is one of the star cities of the country and said, “The Commodity Exchange is endowing Karacabey with an important educational facility. Congratulations.”​

In his speech at the opening of the school in Karacabey, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said: In the fertile land of Karacabey, agriculture is practiced throughout the four seasons. In addition, you boast Turkey's highest quality linden. Apart from agriculture, there is also a great industrial development. 14 of the 500 largest industrial companies are here. The list of tax record holders is indicative of the power of Karacabey's economy. Bursa's corporate tax and income tax winner are from Karacabey. Matlı Yem and Mr. Özer Matlı holds the corporate tax record while Sütaş and Mr. Muharrem Yılmaz hold income tax record. Karacabey has the fortune of having 2 successful Chambers and Commodity Exchanges representing the private sector. Both are accredited, 5-star Chamber and Commodity Exchanges.

Service quality on par with those in Europe. Karacabey Chamber and Exchange are carrying out very successful endeavors. Now, the Exchange endows Karacabey with a large vocational training facility.

In the past we used to do agriculture only to meet our consumption needs. Agriculture is now being done for industrial production - that is to feed the whole world. Karacabey taught Turkey this. Karacabey showed how agriculture-based industry should be.”

- Educated people are the most valuable capital

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the the most valuable capital today is not gold, not oil, but educated people. He said that we need more educated, qualified people for the future of our country. TOBB President reported that there is a need for qualified human capital, especially in the food, agriculture and animal husbandry sectors, “The Karacabey Commodity Exchange recognized this deficit and took action. In order to make Karacabey the leader in food and agriculture, to make it a leader city in food and agriculture, stepped in to produce human capital. I would like to congratulate our Karacabey Commodity Exchange for their visions. That is why our Chambers and Commodity Exchanges work for the development of their districts and their districts.
