TOBB ETU Chairman of the Board of Trustees and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with TOBB ETU graduates TOBB Economy and Technology University Alumni Association members at an iftar organized this year.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I congratulate the association who are working for the unity and solidarity between the graduates and strengthening relations of graduates with the university.”

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated the re-elected management and their competitors in the TOBB ETU MED elections, saying that every election has a winner and a loser but that neither winning nor losing is important; what matters is quality gained through competition.

Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they are alumni of Turkey's most democratic institution, “You must rise from the bottom in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, chambers and exchanges. Encountering many TOBB ETU graduates made me very happy. A TOBB ETU alum running for chamber presidency has made me very proud.”

“You are the future of Turkey,” said Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that he is in the same hall as the leaders of the future.

Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that TOBB ETU with 6,000 students and 5,000 graduates, is a family of 11,000; the first and only joint training model in Turkey, which has been adopted as a goal for all political parties in the elections. “With this common education system, one of two graduates finds a job,” said Hisarcıklıoğlu. “What makes our graduates champions of employment is their work experience during their years at university.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they are a big and powerful family, and that their greatest strengths are unity and solidarity.
