Speaking at the ceremony A. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has congratulated Ankara Chamber of Commerce for the nice work carried out in favour of Ankara and added “I pay my compliments to our Chairman – Gürsel together with board of management, council, President of the Commission – Mr Zafer and its members. Here as seen whatever is necessary for enriching the city and its members are being carried out by Ankara Chamber of Commerce. Also improves the service quality continuously. At the helm of our Chairman – Gürsel best and finest quality service is being provided for our community and also they take the burden away making our community’s work easier, lays the way open for them to earn – achieve more”.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stating that Ankara Brand Festival is a work of a distinct vision also said “It is finest indication that our Chamber is keeping abreast of all the worldwide developments. Yet there are three ways to for enrichment; transform your product to a brand, transform your city to a brand and transform your country to a brand. Well then what does brand stand for? Founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos says; ‘Your brand is what others said about you when you are not around’. So indeed brand means confidence. It means a reputable perception remains in the mind. ”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that brands have become a major power, total value of the top ten powerful worldwide brands has already exceeded 800 billion USD which such amount is nearly as much as national income of Turkey. 

Hisarcıklıoğlu as reminded that the worldwide competition is not only between countries or companies but “also cities are in competition with each other. Increasingly trend of ‘brand cities’ has taken up.” 

Describing Ankara as once the city of civil servant President of TOBB continued as follows: “We managed to change such perception. Now we have nice Universities, Research and Development Centres and Hospitals. Throughout Turkey we are in a leading position in high-tech production. On the other hand on Ankara Chamber of Commerce’s initiation fellow entrepreneurs in Ankara have covered significant grounds on the way to branding. 8 of every 100 brand registration in Turkey emerged from Ankara. In last 5 years 26.600 brands have been officially registered in Ankara which we can consider the grandness of this figure; the total amount of brand registration in previous 15 years was not as such. It is apparent how much we achieved”.

-Historic figures in employment campaign

Hisarcıklıoğlu underlining that they accomplished 2 ultimate successes within this week also said “Firstly world record for 3^rd quarter growth has arrived. We have reached historic figures in employment campaign which we initiated under the leadership of our esteemed President of the Republic. Ankara Chamber of Commerce has become one of the successful ones amongst other and made us proud. Once more gave us the opportunity to take pride in ATO, its members and business circle. God willing, hand in hand we shall be keeping up with this delightful performance”.

Thanking to everybody for the granted award Hisarcıklıoğlu also said “At heart, this award is the result of our fellowship in our journey and harmony. And what is more I am greatly honoured working together with you. May Allah make our unity and solidarity lasting.
