EU reaction by TOBB to Austrian Government

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reacted to “EU shall breakdown the talks with Turkey and shall be seeking for allies for that” statement within newly formed Austria government’s programme.
Hisarcıklıoğlu included following statements to his message:
“We find the decision taken by Austria Government concerning Turkey’s European Union matter worrying.
The resolution for commencing Turkey’s accession negotiations has been unanimously adopted by the participation of all the countries in European Union.
A decision which particularly concern to Europe’s future is not appropriate to be taken on the basis of grounds for domestic politics of a country.
Such approach shall not contribute neither to European Union nor to Turkey – European Union relations."
