Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Following the signing of the agreements, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a joint press conference. Erdoğan stated in his speech that they’ve spoken with Mirziyoyev and the delegations which have been very productive. He said that they are discussing possible avenues of cooperation in the areas of the defense, health, agriculture, education and culture industries.

Erdoğan said, “I would like to give you some good news. Turkish Airlines will start scheduled flights from Istanbul to Samarkand on March 15^th, so that these two brother nations will have the opportunity to integrate more tightly as a society.”

With the agreements which TOBB is a party to, a total of 20 agreements have been signed between Turkey and Uzbekistan.
