He stated that managers and politicians should always look out for business people. “I want to give the opportunity to our young people and our women as business people. We have to support our women in business in particular. Why? For the prosperity of our country. Today, every new business means an additional 10 jobs. This means that if 150,000 new business are established each year, we will barely be able to provide jobs to 1.5 million people. What if we do not get jobs for them? There would be an army of the unemployed and we could not rest easy in our homes or our workplaces.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu reminded that Gelibolu is the place where the existence and the legend of Turkey are written. “If it were not for Gelibolu and Çanakkale, we would not be in this geography. Allah preserve us from living those days again. Whenever I come to Gelibolu and Çanakkale, my hair stands on end; an excited pride comes over me.”

Reminding that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Gelibolu are accredited, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they provide the same quality of services as the chambers found in Paris, London and Berlin.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the Gelibolu business community wants the academy in Gelibolu to be transformed into a faculty as well as the establishment of a maritime and fisheries faculty in Gelibolu.
